Engineering and design firm Olsson Associates has promoted Jamie Fain to office leader for its Overland Park office. He is taking over for Sterling Cramer who was promoted into a regional leader role where he will oversee Olsson’s eight locations in Kansas, Missouri and Iowa.
In his new role, Fain will be charged with maintaining office financial performance, fostering local client relationships, maximizing operational efficiency, growing the local client base, and recruiting and developing key leadership within the office. He will also continue to be involved in key transportation projects for the region.
“Jamie has a great vision for the office,” Cramer said. “He brings a lot of energy and has clear ideas for where he can help the firm.”
Fain joined Olsson Associates in 1999 and has most recently served as the team leader for the firm’s Kansas City transportation group. He has a B.S. in civil engineering from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
Cramer also joined Olsson in 1999. In addition to his management role, Cramer provides oversight to major development and infrastructure projects and works alongside key clients.
